The location was quiet for first time visitors to Bristol. Also, it was around 10-15 minutes walk from St Andrew's Church. The room was well laid out and good-sized, especially the bed was extremely comfy.

We recently stayed at The Queens Chew Magna for a weekend getaway. The location was charming and the room and en-suite were lovely. The staff member who checked us in was relaxed and friendly. The evening meal was tasty, although the menu wasn't as sophisticated as the website photos suggested. The hotel had a nice garden and the small village had some great little shops, pubs, and a fantastic restaurant called The Lazy Lobster. The new rooms were beautifully decorated and of a high standard. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious. The attention to detail, such as the coffee machine and toiletries, was impressive.
